Booked my flight yesterday. I’ll get there Wednesday and be leaving Friday evening. I’ll be found at the Aerospace Modeler Magazine table or walking the floor talking to vendors.
I’m coming home just in time so I’ll try and squeeze it in. Its only an eight hour drive from Missouri so thats not bad at all. Plus I plan on stopping at Dayton and go to Wright Patterson to see all the aircraft. I’m really looking forward to it.

DANG!! I am going on vacation to Ohio and I am leaving TWO DAYS before the show, and my parents will not be swayed to stay and let me go! any ideas if next years contest will be the same place as this years?

I’m leaving on Tuesday from Madison, Wi. and staying in Fairborn for the night. I will spend some time and money at the USAF Museum before heading out to Columbus. It should be quite a show.

I’ll be there, I wqas thinking about taking a pic of myself the morning of so that people can recognize me and might say hello, but I’m going to be there on the start day and then the finish day, ( i’d love to come everyday, but can’t afford to miss all those days from work), but since I’m a beer delivery guy now I might just bring a few extra’s. HA HA HA HA !!!

Its great people are heading out. If you guys have any down time I would reccomend checking out the North Market. It’s not even a block infront of the convention center. They have some great food, and other vendors. Also check out Mott’s Military Museum. It’s outside of Columbus. They have artifacts from before the Civil War to present. They have a few vehicles outside and even a replica of Rickenbacker’s house.
