Who's built the Academy 1/48 SU-27?

I just won one on an Ebay auction and was wondering how you liked it?
I have heard it is the best SU-27 out there. Opinions appreciated.

I built one many years ago. I did not have any major problems, just some seams required some filler. I can’t remember too much about it but it built into a very good model.

The one I built had a warped wing which took some time to straighten out. I am sure you wan’t have too many problems and will enjoy building it.

Not really. The wife would kill me if I bought any more.
The thing is that I only have maybe 10 kits total that are unbuilt and she thinks that is too many. Women just don’t get it do they? [;)]

Hey Mike,
I just started my Academy Mig 21 this evening, I don’t know if you read some of my posts my friend bought an Academy mig 29 and it was awful, I bought the mig 29 UB, . and it’s very good. Fed Ex dropped off my mig 21(Academy) this afternoon and I can say it’s better than my UB. Overall it’s an excellent kit.
