Sounds…phishy.
If you get another one, can you note the sender’s email address? You should be able to do this without actually opening the email.
Coincidentally, there is a current phishing/ransom scam going on, in which you’ll receive an email from an unknown sender, claiming to have gotten your password to a website (specified or unspecified) and demanding you reply or open an attachment. Just delete the email, and change your passwords on the websites you visit.
Another one today. Hello cs.finescale team. I haven’t heard from you…
and the header is collaboration.
What gives?
It sounds like a phishing attempt, John. Someone is trying to get you to respond, so he can get more of your online information, for illegal purposes.
Ya, that is not from us! Sounds like a scam to me. It shouldn’t be coming from our end but I’ll stil let our security team know. Thanks for the info.
