Which is the most selected zimmerit coating menthod use by every fans ?

They are two type one is factory coat … nice and smooth … and other is field coated … rough and thick … so fans which is easier to do and most selected by modellers ?[:)][:D][8D]

i’ve never done zimmerit before, but i’ve ordered some from cavalier for my sturmtiger… i’m sure some others who have more experience will come along and chime in

I think it depends on the type of vehicle you are building. Different tanks had different styles of Zimmerit. I have only done a couple sessions with Zim and prefer the rough style myself. Try this link for more info.

thuber1967 is right. You need to match the style of Zimmerit to the vehicle you are making. The site he posted will explain, at least in general terms, which style belongs on which vehicles. If in doubt, just post the question, I’m sure we can find the appropriate pattern.

I like the factory type where the coat is even and the pattern is consistant. I want to do a tank that has been around awhile. It will probably have been hit and repaired. The field coat will have to be used to cover the repair and the paint will not match the rest of the tank.
