Which aircraft is this Hubley due cast based upon?

Decided to restore this old Hubley diecast Jet and wonder what aircraft it is based upon.Looks like a Lockheed design.

First, fast impression is F9 Cougar.

It’s based on a drawing of an aircraft from an air race poster. We’ve looked at this before.

I decided to paint the upper Fuselage dark blue,the lower Fuselage white and the outer wings orange.
