Which aftermarket Pzkfw IV track?

I am building a Jagdpanzer IVL70 and wanted to know which of the following track I should get, Modelkasten, WWII Productions, or Frieuls? I know the metal is tough and provide weight. I have used Frieuls before but I hear that the others are very detailed. Thanks for your advice, Greg.

good morning to you gjek.myself i have never used aftermarket tracks.but recently i have used three diff. ones offered by dml in thier magictracks group and they seem to be of excellent detail.i am very interested in watching the responses tp this forum.a couple of years back ibuilt one of dragons ferdinand/elefants which was to me an excellent kit by itself but to add to the realism i drilled and pinned all of the kit supplied links which added greatly to the build time, and to behonest i dont plan on that route of attack again any time soon.again i am looking forward to seeing the responses to your question.

Those kit tracks were the worst I’ve ever assembled. I just couldn’t keep them together. Nothing to hold each link around the sprockets.

Hey gjek, I just assembled a set of ModelKasten SK-57 tracks for my Panzer IV ausf. D. They are really nice but took several hours to assemble. Although they feel and look delicate they are actually quite sturdy. Never tried Friul or WWII Productions, but from everything I’ve read all three are very nice. All will require clean-up before assembly, but I think the WWII Production tracks just clip together whereas the MKs and Friuls require pins to assemble. I’d really like to try some WWII Prod for my early Panther A, If I could find out where to buy. Hope this helps!

Buffle

I’d say WWII prod. The detail is astounding and they are extremely easy to assemble- just snap them together. Plus they don’t fall apart.
