Where's my kit from China?

Or maybe that specially made blanket I orderd for my wife for Christmas.

Oh! Maybe they’re in here!

Or here!

Absoluetly nuts! Come to think of it I do have sub on order from China… could be in there

A whole city for those on the streets just strewn around.

Your things are on the 68th container ship waiting for dock availability and offload

That boat might be aboiut 100 miles off the west coast with the hidden cargo fleet.

I’m trying not to order any more from there until they get this mess straightened up.

Maybe they should divert those ships down here where they say there is enoiugh room to get them off loaded.

Things seem to be getting to the US from China in a reasonable amount of time. Its just once they get to the “sorting center” in the US that it slows to a crawl. Finally got my brass bushings from China last week. They had been in the US, already having passed through customs, since 12-27.

Lot of ports have capacity to take some of it, but not the bigger ones, only the small to medium ships. Portland is a good example.

The bigger issue is once their unloaded they don’t have the capacity to get them on the road to the destination

I saw this in the news. It’s around the Los Angeles area. Container trains stop or slow down in certain high traffic areas and theives break into the containers. That looks insane.

There are large yards on the rail lines out of the harbor where the cars are left on side lines before being put together into larger trains nefore heading to their next destination. The yards are huge, with hundreds of boxcars full of cargo at any given time.

Hey Mopar, I heard reports that some trains were considering bypassing LA altogether because of the problem.

Welcome to the new America.

Somehow I liked the old one better.

Perfection is also a very small town out west with a very large worm problem.

Kinda like the wild wild west,we got train robberies now !!!

We are told here as far as any orders for any goods are concerned from China, that they are on a very large container ship somewhere/anywhere!

Ouch.

Yeah, LA County has seen a return of the classic train robbery, thanks to the brilliant ideas of the general spirit of “defund the police”, and the DA’s specific policy of no-bail releases for suspects.

Has been said,

“On a slow boat from china”.

And when the bottom rusts through after swinging around the anchor for so long, most of the containers will follow if to the bottom

You could do another Water World type movie but this time instgead of the Exxon Valdez tanker, use a container ship. Imagine all the oars that would have to be used to move it.

And then there’s that old guy in the hold with thousands of boxes instead of oil…

might happen…you never know.

Ouch that blows!!!

I’ve got a few things from China recently- including my bicycle gal figure. It was in a small box though- maybe it came air mail? I was expecting the slow boat from China but most of the figures I’ve ordered though AliExpress come in less than a month.
