I am looking for information on where I can purchase LED lights to add to a project I am about to embark on, the kit is actually a Boeing 747-400, I posted a similar note in the planes forum and got no responses, so I guess there are not many plane modelers who add realistic lighting to their aircraft.
I figured there must be car modelers who add lighting to their kits, so if anyone could suggest any good websites where I might find the items I need to do this project, I would apreciate the info.
Thanks
Paz
Any electronic store would carry that, Paz. Here in the UK, we have a chain called Maplins that carry all that stuff, and much more…
Or try Radio Shack… in the US
Try http://www.hosfelt.com They have a wide selection of LEDs and also circuit boards to run them in a “flash” mode. Also they carry nice small files, clamps, scribes and other stuff that works well for modelling. Get the catlaog. Good people.

[8D]Hey bud, ask your local ( if you have one ) model shop if they carry or can get " grain of wheat, or grain of rice," there’s another one but I can’t remember what it is. They should know what you need. The lights are used for model railroads and such.
