Anyone notice that MM has been missing lately? I wonder what is up.
Maybe he’s giving his guys a little more time so they can do a better job.
We can only hope.
With all the crap and rude comments he gets I wouldn’t be suprised if he just stopped posting.

Aye, I wouldn’t be surprised at that either SST.
I have the chance to exchange e-mails with MM some months ago. He is really a nice guy. Sure he gets irritated with all the harsh comments he gets around here for not being too strict with the modelers he pays regarding the models they produce but he simply lets it pass. He told me that he is not a perfectionist when it comes to models and he just enjoys them whether he made them himself or by his modelers. Yes he also builds models but he said that he is now too busy to do them himself so he lets others do them for him.
It is really his dream to have a large collection of models to display in a “museum” sort of way and the only way for him to attain his goal is to have many modelers building for him. And it is nice to know that his dream is slowly becoming a reality. Yes I myself can say that most of the models he gets from his builders have flaws (and maybe not worth the money he pays them) but to him those are things that make his dreams come true.
I believe that he will be back with another set of completed builds done by his modelers. And of course he will again get criticisms and sarcastic remarks but you have to give it to the guy for still coming back.
Interesting read. Flaws or not, I hope to see more. You see, I am a novice builder learning from the hobby. However, I am an art nut and love and appreciate seeing what others build. I hope to see more of his work.

Well, not really a weekly project. Last year I showed just 31 or 32 new parts in 52 weeks. Everything has its circle - up and down. This year my modelers work slower. I could have taken pictures for a new page since last Monday but then I got so many things to do. Anyway I managed to do that yesterday and my new page is coming later tonight or tomorrow, sporting 10 new pieces.
I’d like to thank subfixer for his concern about my well-being and his kind PM to me. It’s great to know that why you’re away someone is missing you. 
Model Maniac can build models a lot better than what he says about his own builds. I’ve seen some of his work and quite honestly, I like his own builds a lot. I’m happy for him to see his dream is coming true. However, I no longer add my comments to his posts (not that it matters or my comments means much).
