I’m at a loss to fine a trace of a 1/72 version of this Pacific strafer in any of my local hobby shops. I’ve even gone so far as to have my hobby shop try to look up and see if they can order any of the kits I’ve seen mentioned on the Web that might be just out-of-stock…and still no dice. Anyone know where I might find such a beast out there?
Dunno, but Italeri acquired the old AMT molds for the 1/48 version and are offerring it now if you’re interested in going ‘up-scale’. [:D]
Check out hobby shops that do consignments or deal in rare out of production kits, perhaps you’ll be able to put your hands on the old Matchbox 1/72 A-20 kit. Matchbox was the only 1/72 kit of that type I’m aware of.
Revell Germany got the bulk of Matchbox’s old molds, but I’m not aware that they have reissued the A-20 kit or are even in possesion of those particular molds.

I believe Revell Germany re-issued the old matchbox kit several tears ago, but it’s been OOP for a long while.
