hi
i have a m- 36 jackson gunmotor carriage and the
tracks that are prvided are one piece tracks
how much would link tracks cost and where do u get 'em?
I see Jason is out here right now, too, so you’ll probably get a couple of answers at about the same time.
You can get various types of Sherman type tracks from several companies. AFV makes some one piece tracks that are supposed to be quite nice. For independent (indy) link tracks, Friulmodelesimmo (sp?) (most people just call them Friul) has a few and I believe Model Kasten does, too. A company by the name of WWII Productions has some really neat, snap together sets, but they are really hard to find in the US. There are also a few resin sets around. I’ve never used any of them so can’t tell you anything about them. I used a set of Friuls on my Firefly and really liked them.
Vendor wise, you can get track sets from many of the online sites. greatmodels.com, missionmodels.com, and modelpoint.us all carry them. I’m sure there are many others.
Bill covered it nicely. I belioeve AFV Club also has some seperate links for the VVSS suspension tracks.
