Where do I look now?

Does anyone know of a site that has good interior shots of the Ford 4-AT Tri Motor? I recently picked one up from e-bay, and, being typical old Monogram, has no interior what so ever. I need something that shows the interior arrangement and cockpit layout. Colour would be nice but not required as I can wing it from there. Thanks for any help.

Hey road,
Maybe try and do a search on google(www.google.com). Or else do various searches that contain “Ford 4-AT Tri Motor”, Ford Tri Motor interior photos, Ford Tri Motor reference pictures ect ect ect…[;)]
Even though civies are not my thing, let me see what I may have on her. I’m sure somebody here may have stuff On the Tri Motor.
If I am not mistaken, isn’t there an area just for civilian a/c? O’well looking forward to your build.
Aint it fun when you have to scratch build!!
Flaps up, Mike

Try " GOOGLE IMAGES " search. I found a few interior shots. I entered " Ford 4-AT " and “Ford Trimotor” .

There’s one being restored about twenty minutes from here. Might be able to get out there and take some shots for you - what do you want to see?

roadkill…
hope this works for ya…

Mike, Dogsbody (???) I yahooed for it and all I could find was for the 5 AT.

Swanny, I don’t know how much difference there is between the 4 AT and the 5 AT, But I need the general arrangement of the cockpit and a good shot of the seats. Like what the blasted things look like. All the pics I could find only showed the tops of the seats (cabin and cockpit)

Rik, Thanks for the link. That was the only interior shot I could find that showed the back of the seat.

I’m not real good at scratchbuilding so this is going to be a learning experience for me.

Kevin the junkers tri motor was design from the ford 4at.You might have better luck looking into this. This may or may not help you but is worth a shot.Digger
