i have trying find this classic kit because it was motorized and very big around
3 ft long and i would like to find one to buy for me and my son and daughters
to do as a family build
If I’m not mistaken…this is the same kit as the Revell re-pop. As for motorizing it, there’s enough aftermarket running gear to make it go…you can always get a Tamiya Enterprise and motorize her as well…or the new Trumpeter Nimitz.

My brother built this kit in the late 60s. I still have it. It had a motor and tray for 4 D batteries and one 9v for lights. The center of the flight deck screws in place to access the battery compartment. The bridge and Pri-fly windows are clear and a mount is in the base for a lightbulb.
Pretty interesting kit, and I havn’t seen any around for as long as I can remember. The Revell is an offspring of this kit without all the mechanical goodies.
Havent seen the motorized kit, but they have the same scale kit at Hobby Lobby near me… you might want to check them if you have on enear… They have several big-scale model kits even my LHS doesnt have… I think it is either an academy or monogram kit… not sure…
