My honest response is simply that a modeler can make just about anything fit into anything. It’s all a matter of effort.
I’ve routinely used resin sets designed for particular kits in other kits of the same aircraft. You may find you have to do some trimming or extra thinning or perhaps even some filling to make everything work out ok but I’m sure that it can be done.
Go for it and see.
