I am currently working on the 1/48 alteri mirage 2000c. The directions are a little light on detail. I have found by surfing the net the wheel struts and hubs are chrome silver. However I don’t know what the wheel wells should be painted. Can someone help out there in model land?

coming from first hand experiance working around (just around they shared the same ramp with the planes I worked) the 2000 at airbases around the world and most of them looked like they where a metallic silver not chrome-closer to a steel color not a really polished one, you could use a dull Alumumn color too only the pistons where chromed, and some even where painted gloss white so that really blew my mind, I’ve worked on a lot of Dassult planes from the Falconjet 10 to the 2000 and they where painted a metalic grey or silver color and it’s a PRC paint kit that was used and it had 3 colors first was a very light green then a dark green then the top coat of metalic sounds crazy but look at the French anyways
