As for scents…spent gun powder when target shooting.

Home made cinnamon rolls.
Bacon cooking… Gunsmoke… wood bonfire… strawberry fields in season… the ocean air…

I was with ichi go-ni from July,'66 to June, '67 and then went to Cherry Point and 252 until discharged in June of '69.

I love the smell of Tamiya Extra-thin melting styrene, Future floor polish, and propaganda posters fresh off a Gutenburg press. ( I worked in a print-shop one summer, kinda miss that fresh ink + paper smell…)

But I believe my favorite smell of all would have to be Butterscotch schnapps.
This time of the year in the mid-South, it’s the honeysuckle, especially during the evening walk.
