If I had to choose one or two non-combat planes I would love to own:
Tigermoth
Boeing Stearman
What a couple of pure fun flyers with good looks to boot!

The mighty Prowler [^]
the thing can loose half a wing and still bring me home
My top three would be the Martin P4M Mercator, Martin AM Mauler ant the Douglas B-18 Bolo.
Bristol Beaufort, followed by Fairey Barracuda, Mk 2 Lanc, DC3, Curtis C46 (might get round to doing one in South African colours some day),B25, B26, and for the non military fans, how about the Avro Canada Jetliner?

Northrop M2-F2/3. Fly without wings! Loved it ever since I first saw it at the opening of Six Million Dollar Man and seeing it at the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum. After that A-10 and A-6.
Armed non fighter aircraft would be the AC-130H Specter, Got to see a live fire exercise and it was awesome.
Unarmed non fighter would be the MC-130H Talon I, with Fulton Recovery System. Got to see that in operation during an Air Show in Flordia.
Saddly, I believe both of these models have gone the way of the dinosaur, much like me, and retired.
