What is it, and who makes it? this thing looks really cool IMO.

Some sorta of Japanese tank. I think…[?]
EDIT: Damn, was I sure off.[D)]
It’s Allied and the name escapes me at the moment…it was originally a design ordered by the British from American sources but then found not fit for front-line combat service (not hard to imagine when looking at the armament and armor!) and was sent to the various colonies and saw action in the Pacific in the early days I believe…the model is one by Steve Zaloga. You can see some of the Stuart pre-cursor lineage in the suspension and design. Some of them may have even ended up in Russian hands as part of Lend-Lease, but not sure.
It’s a T16. Look here: http://www.missing-lynx.com/gallery/usa/szmarm.htm

Ah yes, the good ol’ Marmon Herrington! [(-D]
thanks guys. My favorite tank is the suart, so i like to see it develop.
Do you know if this kit is avaliable for sale? either that, or I’ve got a lot of scratch building to do lol
No kit available that I’m aware of, Steve Zaloga scratch-built this one.
FSM did a scratch build article on this back in the eighties. Somewhere I have the magazine with it in there.

Found this pic in my Stuart tanks in action. Thier with the 138 Infantry in the Alleutians 1942.

hey squeakie, is there anyway you can scan a page or two of that magazine, and post it here?
don’t worry if you can’t.
and Panzerguy, i’m thinking of getting stuarts in action book, is it worth the 11 or so dollars?
Yes[^]
Come on, Cyberhobby—Make it!!! It has echoes of Japanese and Italian and French influences—cool for sure…
i prefer light tanks to medium or heavy tanks, not sure why. Design, capabilities, and usage I guess. You’d think DML would have made three different varients by now.
Funny thing about the T14 and T16 they seem to be mirrored designs.
maybe right handed commanders get a T-16, and left handed commanders get a T-14. Coordinating turrets to match hand dominance. What an odd world we live in.
