what's the optimum number of builds to be working on simultaneously?

I currently have 6 in various stages of production. Usually I have about 3-4 going at once. That way when one is drying, glue setting, or whatever, I can work on the others. But its also limited to the space available. If one of them is a huge 1/72 KC-135, then there isnt much room for others. And then there are the ones that only get attention maybe once a month.
