I’m starting on a 1/72 F-8E and have not yet decided whether to use the RF-8G conversion I have. I’m using the revell kit but also have the Esci and Hasegawa F-8’s that will come next. Soon to begin will be Blue Water Navy’s Gearing which I’ll do as DD-837 USS Sarsfield after the FRAM I conversion. First need to finish my 1/72 F-14B and 1/48 F4U-1D. Not enough time in the world…

Right now I am getting ready to start on both my Panda F-35’s one Air Force and the other Marine versions then after that i am [%-)] on what to work on after that. Since I have over 100 kits waiting in totes. Oh well I will decide when i get to it lol.

Since I am finally building the models I have never built, I thought it would be cool to build NASA’s AFTI F-16. I first read about it in Popular Science. The two canards at the front allow it to perform a “Flat Turn” as opposed to a banking turn.

I have over thirty assorted kits in my closset. Aircraft, armour, ships, scifi. cars and an odd truck all of which are on my list… some day.

Great question.
Revell-Monogram Spitfire Mk II (1/48)
Revell-Monogram B-25J Mitchell (1/48)
I’m picking up a couple more kits this weekend!!

Over and out.

A couple months ago when I got excited about getting into the hobby I told myself I would not become a pack rat and end up with stacks of models to complete. HA! That didn’t seem to last very long.

Here is my list (and my likely order of doing them)

  1. Tamiya 1/48 A6M5c Zero - as part of a group build that I am having trouble becoming motivated for
  2. Hasegawa A-4F - Lady Jessie (From my father-in-law’s squadron)
  3. Tamiya 1/48 P-51D - For one of my friends who said it was his favorite plane
  4. Tamiya 1/48 P-47D - No particular reason, I think it looks cool
  5. Hasegawa 1/48 Hellcat - My favorite plane (I’m going to try to follow along with the build in the Squadron Applied Modeling Book - Awesome book by the way; I have learned tons from it)
  6. Academy 1/48 P-47N - Also from the Applied Modeling Book

Not too good at sticking to the one at a time only idea

I have a P-51D and that is about it. It is the money thing with me.

Wow, I feel a little small next to all of your plans, guys! Right now I’m working on a Razorback Jug, and trying really hard not to buy anything else till it’s done. Not an easy task, but the next one is down to either a FW 190 or Me262. I have been thinking of the clear version, but only because of the extra engine and stand. But the butcher bird is just so cool looking…decisions, decisions! And, after hearing about so many of the member’s assembly line process, I’m thinking of throwing in a komet at the same time to give it a try. At least it’s small.

Now, I’ve got to get back to the work bench already!
