Where can a guy go to get his collection valued. I have 250-300 kits from days gone by, and would like to find out what they are worth…

if you are willing to spend $40 on a book by [firstname i forgot] burns, you can find out. the book’s pac-20 i believe
check the classifieds in the back of FSM. There are usually adds for people who buy collections. And remember, the kits are really only worth what someone will pay. Also try ebay. Some people may want kit worse than others.

what they are worth and what you might get are (maybe) two different …things…unfortuneately…unless you’ve got some rare stuff…

You’re right, I’ve seen built model “Lots” bring ridiculously high bids on e-bay!
Example: A (poorly) built basket case of four old MPC stock cars, sold for $235 after 38 bids! There’s more examples, the trick is titling the auction using Power Words (frequently used search engine terms).

Actually, these kits are all UNBUILT…I do not care to sell them…I would like to form a vaution for insurance purposes
