I have seen many of you guys use this method but still not sure exactly what it is. Can you guys please explain it to me?
In a nutshell, with a pinwash, you are going to apply your wash with a very fine brush on specific details that you want to call out - rivets, nuts and bolts, hinges, etc. This is in contrast to doing an overall wash where you, basically, cover the whole model in a wash.
