What's In Your Wallet?

Here’s my tribute to one of the most enjoyable ad campaigns ever, the “What’s In Your Wallet? Ads featuring the Celtic/Germanic warriors for a famous credit card company. The figure is Andrea’s 54 mm Welsh Chieftain, 1270 with minor modifications.

You win the humor award for the month! Great!

What’s in my wallet? Usually my wife’s fingers…

Great painting on the figure! And I love the idea, funny how just moving the spear from one hand to the other you didn’t have to change much of anything else. Brilliant idea- love it! [Y]

[t$t] Exactly exercise in competence — amiable, enjoyable, and entirely contemplation.

Nice work. Shows you what I know. I thought the What’s In Your Wallet dudes were Vikings.

Hahahahahaha! That is GREAT! Nicely done, sir. [B]

Thanks, guys. I’m glad to see you enjoy the piece and get the humor. Easy Mike, these guys are referred to as Goths in the pizza palace ad where they pop up, mole like, in a Wack A Goth game.

I need to get out more.

Nah, it’s I who need to get out more in that I know this! [:$]

Yeah figured they had to be Goths or Vandals or something like that from the ad where they’re on the film lot and see a couple of actors dressed like legionaries and the lead barbarian yells 'ROMANS! GET ‘EM!!!’ [:D]

Very clever and well-executeod. Fun to look at.

Excellent work and great humorous touch… What’s in my wallet?.. Not enough cash! [:'(]

That’s some great painting and I love the creativeness.
