I recently finished this diorama with MiniArt and Stalingrad figures and a MiniArt GAZ truck. The house is an unbranded one from Ebay, maybe not quite the right design for the setting but I don’t know. It’s set in Russia (I never picked out exactly where) at the start of 1943. Inside the house soldiers are eating, while outside, another feeds a child, and several more converse with a truck driver, who perhaps is in need of something to eat too. The snow is AK Interactive Snow Sprinkles, followed by Snow and then Snow Microballons. Anyway, thanks for looking. Comments and critics welcome.
Looks great, love the inside and outside aspect of the scene
That tells a story of a moment in time with many things going on at the same time. Great work!
Terrific composition! Your work on the house is excellent…and the outside looks suitably cold for Russia.
Thank you Paul, I appreciate it.
Nicely done. Very realistic scene with plenty of details to capture the eye.
Thank you @mrb865! It was fun to build.
This is a very well thought out diorama. There are a lot of different elements going on, but everything seems to click. The house and vehicle look great and the snowy road and base look fantastic. This diorama really tells a story of the Russian front in early 1943. Excellent work.
Love the storytelling! That snow looks so real ![]()
Thanks Manuel and Harry!
