What You Did on Your Work Bench Today

Thanks, Tom. Its taking me long enough. Grrrr. Anyway, progress is progress.

I spent the last few days changing the display for my 1/350 scale USS Virginia submarine. Before, it was on a crude base with data specifications next to it. I got rid of that, then bought a wood plaque from Hobby Lobby and stained it, then added the sub and a few other items. Now it looks moderately better.

Old display below which was crude that I didn’t like and got rid of.

New display below with sub on stained wood plaque.

Spent Monday and Tuesday adding an extension to my workbench. Can now shift the power tools to the smaller bench giving me more workspace for model building.

WhatIfRebel, your new display presentation for your USS Virginia looks very nice & classy.

Finished the cockpit and joined the fuselage on a 1/72d Airfix English Electric F.2A.

MarineGen3, that additional workspace looks well made & should serve you well. I was wondering, do you have a similar bench for your airbrushing/paint booth station?

Looking at this tank you’re going to be working on, and thinking of a M40 Gun Motor Carriage beside it… I might have to purchase that Tamiya model (the Nashorn) also.
