Here’s a fun question: if you could go back in time and get your hands on just ONE tank (or even a contemporary modern one) and stick it out in your front yard like a lawn ornament, what would ya grab? For me, I’d drool over a late Henschel Jagdtiger!!![:O][wow]

hmmm good question…I was thinking something germanic…but it just doesn’t convey enough wackiness for me-raw power, yes, but you need something weird. I would go with a T35, with its 5 turrent glory.
If all we are going for is a lawn ornament, I’d want the biggest, heaviest, ugliest beast possible, I’d go for a Maus. [:P]

Definately a Scorpion/Scimitar,
approx 8.5 tons, de-rated Jaguar engine, auto box, drives like a car, faster than a porche (to 40mph anyway), & with the right drivers’ license & rubber-pad tracks, road-legal, & car-tax exempt!

I have always like the look of the Joseph Stalin 3… Now that is a big gun 
What would I like in my front yard ? A Centurion Tank ( Yep , the mighty" Cent " , the first tank , I crewed as a gunner , loader , and driver ), and hopefully it would be drive-able . Next choice would be a T-34 / 85 ( it has a " dynamic " look about it ).After that would be a Sherman ( who can complain , this tank has been employed everywhere , a friend of mine had a pet turtle named " Shermie " , she called it " Shermie " because it reminded some how , of a Sherman Tank ( the Sherman she is talking about , is currently a monument , at the base of Monument Hill , at base Wainwright ), LOL , I guess because its shell , and green color ), or lastly a Pershing ( I have always liked the Pershing ).A| Pershing or M-46 would look great .

OK…Being a Field Artillery person but staying with tracks I would go with my favorite the M107 175mm gun.
As my front yart stands right now I have the flagpole and ~1/2 scale wooden model of a revolutionary war cannon out front.
The addition of the M107 would get the point accross!!!
