I’ve got a book with a photo of the same vehicle taken from the rear and it says it’s the “turretless tracked carrier” Pi Kpfw II. IT goes on to say that it’s used for transporting engineer equipment. German for engineer is pioneer hence “Pi”.

I think that would be a cool conversion with the tarp and all. I wonder if they used 38t.s for that .I could cover up that crappy Maquete kit that has half the wrong parts!!!
