Another of my WIP’s that I try to get done is Trumpeters JGSDF Type 82 Command Vehicle in 1/35. The interior is white and some might be seen through the windshield. What color wash should I use?
Thanks in advance,
Joe

I can parrot what Doog has posted, I know he uses raw umber washes in white crew areas, at least he did in his armored pig that was featured in FSM.
Yup–Raw Umber will look nicely like a little bit of dirt in the corners, and also replicates shadow better than pure Black, which is too strong, IMO.
Thanks guys. I will give it a shot.

Raw Umber is typically what I will use as well. Burnt Umber, like Black, tends to be too overpowering. I used this most recently in my Marder III interior and it provides just the right level of contrast.
