What was modified for this?

Just wondering what this firetank is based off of if anyone can tell anyway. I do believe this thing would be fun to get out in the woods to play in. I think I would much rather have that thing with me than my shake and bake bag anyday!

It looks like a Dodge Ram, but then ive just seen the ford badge
it looks cool

It’s a Ford F150, you can see the make/model on the grill, and side.

Is the back end a “Reading” conversion that you see on work trucks?

Dan

Yea, ahh well oops. Wrong pic somehow. Even though that one is pretty cool too. Here is the actual one I was wondering about.

looks like a Leapard 1

I concur, looks lik a Loepard 1 chasis.

Neat picture, but it may not be a modification of any military vehicle. Many industrial companies around the world manufacture their own tracked vehicles - Caterpillar comes to mind immediately. Good luck “tracking” it down. [:D]

Foster

its got Leopard 1a5 skirts on

and the same wheels and hull as a leapard

Also looks like it has vents in the rear corner in the same place. Cool. Thanks.

ive not realy noticed how mutch the King yiger looks like the Leapard 1
untill the two piccys are next to each other

that’s on a T-55 body i belive.
as for the first pick that is not an F-150, it’s a F-250 Superduty with what apperes to be at least a 6 inch body and supension lift kit. I would say it has 34 inch tires and the extra bell’s and whistles (ex. brush guard, storage compartmens, etc. etc.)

Mourningstar,
I beg to differ, that is not a T-55 chasis, but a Leopard 1.

The roadwheel layout on a T-55 is totally different. Here is the T-55:

And the Leopard-1:

Along with the fire tank next to it.
Also note the glacis plate layout on the Leopard 1 is the same as well as the rear air intake grills, sloped hull sides, and the track shrouds are the same.

T55 five wheels no engine grills at the back and different tracks

Leapard 1 same wheels,Tracks and side skirts with grills at the back and 7 wheels
plus there are alot of old Leapards in Canada

red thing 7 wheels and grills at the back

I stan corrected [bow]
