a couple of months ago i got a BROMRY anime 8x8 from the cheap bin. today i got the APC set and they had 2 semis in the basement so i got them too. i don’t even know what universe these are in but apparently they are worth more on ebay than i paid for them. any help in more information is appreciated.
These four kits were reissued by Revell as Robotech Defenders and are from Fang of the Sun Dougram.
thanks Rob. now i guess i’ll decide if i am going to do a lot more research and enter yet another universe and build them or sell them. either way December is finish as many shelf queens as possible.
Max Factory of Japan is going to do a new kit of the Bromry, but Takara’s kits are good, so build it! Max Factory is actually tooling new kits of all the mecha from Dougram, but they are expensive. I also dislike some of their engineering choices for the jointing of the limbs. A lot of the Takara kits lack polycaps, but other than that they build up nicely.
I built the Revell ones back in college. I would have loved to get my hands on the wheeled tanks once again. I do still have the truck and trailer one that was sold as the robot recovery unit. There were a couple of helicopter ones what were cool as well.
