Regarding this fairly aged set by Dragon,

Just what machine gun is the ranger at the far right carrying? Is it an M240 or an M249 perhaps? I can not seem to figure it out!

Going by the size of the mag box , M249 .

That is a M249 SAW. I built that set when it was brand new.
