What is your favorite model

Of all the aircraft kits produced in all scales which one would you elect to be the favorite in your collection. One aircraft only, Please

hmmm maybe Tamiya 1/48 bf 109 e4/7. A fun build.

Wow! This is a tough one. It’s kinda like asking someone which one of their kids is their favourite. I would have to say my Esoteric 1/72 scale Grumman AF-2W Guardian. It was my first ever vacform kit and the way it turned out really blew me away.

Testor’s SR-71C that I just completed a few days ago. Nothing else even close.

kyshu JSW1 Shinden 1946 toyko defence 1/72nd scale made by hasegawa
awesome build very clean and detailed

Only one!!!

I liked building my Hasegawa F6F-3 Hellcat most of all probably. I put the most effort into it of anything I’ve built, plus the Hellcat is probably my favourite aircraft. I also learnt alot of new techniques while I was building it.

Hmmmmmm that’s kind of hard just choosing one. But I think that my favorite out of all the ones that I have built would be my Hasegawa 1/48th Typhoon Mk.1b. Due to the ease of the build.

For me so far, I would have to say eduard’s P-39Q profil pak. It was just a little gem to build.

I’d say the Hasegawa 1/72 B-25 Mitchell. A close second would be any kit produced by Accurate Minitures.

It will be my Academy 1/32 F/A-18C, when it gets here from Hong Kong… And then around July it will be the Academy 1/32 F/A-18D that will be comming out in a few months!

Havnt built them yet, but once I do them as Australian birds, then they will sit proudly for all of Japan to see when they enter my house!

If you are asking as is my favourite now… I love my Australian F-4 Phantom. It is the Tamiya version in 1/72… I dont know why. But it just turned out to be a great looking model, and I dont know how I did it. But I managed to make it look like it had the hell kicked out of it, as was the look of the Aussie F-4’s…

Chris in Japan

For me it would have to be the Tamiya 1/48 P-47 because it looks great, has fantastic detail and goes together like a dream.

Dang, Darson you beat me to the draw, The Tamiya 1/48 P-47 is the one for me

Thad

I third the Tamiya P-47. Accurate, detailed, fun to build and looks great finished. I just finished one a while back and bought 2 more. I can see mayself building a squadron-worth in no time.

A simple question that requires a very complicated answer. I’m at a loss, I love em all.

I would also have to say hasegawa’s 1/48 hellcat. I put tons of work into it, learned a lot while doing it, and enjoyed every minute of it.

Every new kit I buy, is probably one of the best ever, in my opinion. Tha’ts the deal I made with my wife as the stocks are piling up further and further.

Tough though… I’ll use the criterium: what wil probably fit snuggly and what I’m very eager on starting to build. After much pondering, it turns out to be:

1/48 Revell Dassault Rafale

BSTRUMP It worries me that your remark that this question seems like choosing one of you kids, is so easily followed by the choice of a model.[;)] Best regards for the kids!

yeah i have the 1/48 rafale too, and it’s a very nice kit indeed. but i’d have to say my favorite kit is the trumpeter 1/32 su-27 (even though i haven’t bought it yet). big and imposing model of a sexy jet, what more can you ask for?

My favorite is the Revell 1:48 B-58 Hustler. Big, bad, beautiful and retired from service MUCH too early in it’s career!

well right now with it being fased out it is the f-14 tomcat and slowly being replaced by the f-18 all makes [:D][:D]

The Tamiya 1/32 scale F-4EJ Phantom is my absolute favorite model kit. That is until they release the Mig 23 Flogger in 1/32 scale! [HINT, HINT, HINT]
