Which paint brand has the most accurate color of the dark green used on the AH-64 Apache? and what is it called or paint number?
I believe taymia (forgive if spelling is incorrect) has US helo Drab which if my memory serves correct would be a very good match. I could be wrong though
It is actually Testors Model Master US Helo Drab (FS34031). It comes in both enamel and acrylic. The enamel one is more of a used, faded color, while the acrylic is more of a freshly painted version of the color.
Here is a comparison between the two. On the left is a UH-60L I did a few years ago in Enamel Helo Drab (#2024), on the right ismy UH-60A MedEvac with the Acrylic Helo Drab (#4723) on it. You can see how the enamel is more gray and not as green.
