What is the difference between the two Tamiya 1/32 F-14 kits?

I see these advertised for about $30.00 difference in price - the early version (1994) versis the later more expensive version. Why should I shell out about $30.00 for the later kit?

Hi there,

I got the “1994” version. It has bombs etc. but there’s no targetting pod(s) (Sorry, It’s really at the bottom of my stash to dig out and give you exact details).

I’ve heard that the “Black Knight” version has been updated a bit as well as nescessary targetting pod if you choose to arm it with such a load out.
