Hey guys, throwing this out there. I am in the process of moving and all my hobby stuff is boxed up until we can set up the new house but that leaves me time to do some research. I have both Fujimi 1/24 Gulf Porsche 917 and GT-40 MK I and want the correct light blue and orange. I tried Tamiya and couple of others and gave up and went with the Mr. Color call outs… I purchased them and plan on using the air brush to shoot each. What is everybody else’s experience… advice ??
Have you had a look at the MCW Finishes web-site? They have the Gulf livery colors there. I’ve always liked the Mr. Color paints as well, but hadn’t tried any of their gloss colors on a car, so they may be good as well. Tried many of the MCW paints recently on my first car build in years, and I have to say that I’m really impressed with the finish they produce. The colors have been very accurate as well. Just an alternative option if the Mr. Color doesn’t work out, and their enamel thins nicely with Mr. Color Leveling Thinner.
Zero paints does a set as well

I like the MCW paint!
