Well, here are some kits that I am either currently finishing up, or have just finished:
This Pershing just needs to have some markings put on and I need to dirty up the lower hull. As some of you may remember I lost part of a return roller to this kit, but since hitting the half off sale at hobby lobby I have a brand new Pershing to pull parts from.[:D][;)]
I started this Panther a while ago and believe it or not, it is fairly close to being ready for paint. The only major obstacle is the Friu tracks that I still need to put together, but those should not take long.
This is the Tamiya StuG built out of the box. It just had the last shot of dull coat put on.
This is an Italeri Tiger I that I just finished.
Some of you may remember me finishing this kit and wonder why I am posting pics of it again. Well… if you do remember, the decals for the numbers on the turret really showed up. I had spent so much time modifying this kit that I decided to fix the decal issue. I stripped off the decals, fixed the paint and then reapplied numbers using stencils. I still want to replace the tracks but here she is for now.
The new pics are spread out (sorry) under the Gallery, Workbench and T-34/85 pages. As always I appreciate any comments you guys have on the models, pictures, or my website. Thanks in advance, and remember: I appreciate compliments, but criticism is what really helps me out.

Love the builds, you have some inspiring work there.
I know exactly what you mean about criticism, I have been helped so much by the items noticed by members in my pics. So along those lines of cooperation, here’s what I have noticed;
The smoke dischargers on the stug are really clean. The rest is so beautifully weathered that the candles stand out a bit.
That’s all I have, sorry but your build are too nice to warrant much critique.[;)]
Eric, really nice work. i have to agree with the other guys, it’s hard to criticize work of your quality. i also appreciate where you are coming from on wanting critical feedback. thats how we become better modellers. i would rather have honest feedback then just nice compliments. look forward to seeing more of your work. it’s inspiring. semper fi, mike
All of them are really nice edog. I especially like the way you painted the pershing and the T34. Can you elaborate on your painting techniques for these? I like the way they came out.
Me too edog I cantseem to find out how to do that ethier and I have my pershing alreadypainted from a tear ago waiting till I learn. They all look great. superjob.

ausf, you are right about the smoke dischargers. I also noticed that I forgot to dirty up the exhaust. Thanks for pointing that out.
petbat, the panther that I am building now is NOT for the group build. If you look in my gallery, you will see a Tamiya Panther G with Royal Models update and Eduard barrel that I completed for the build.
renarts + thundergod, my painting technique is pretty much always the same. I have written an article about it on my web page. If you can stand to read through the blabbering, you might be able to pull something useful out of it. You can also see how I painted the T34 if you check out the T-34/85 page. A quick rundown is something like this:
First coat is enamel for a good grip on the plastic… This is green, or dark yellow, or whatever the majority of the vehicle will be.
Second is post shading. I start using acrylics at this point because of easy cleanup and faster drying time. Usually a darker shade of the base coat.
Next is any kind of camo pattern with acrylics.
Add scratches if they are in pencil.
Gloss coat to protect the previous coats from the weathering process. I like to use Polly’s water based finishes.
Dry-brush with white and wash with artist oils and paint thinner.
Add paint chips if they are going to be painted on. I paint them with enamels.
Once all the painting steps are completed, I finish up with Polly’s flat coat.
Your workbench now looks like a Factory Floor. He-he-he. Nice job on those kits too. Hhmm with some more practice I may able to come up with something half as good as those.
