What gun is this in the back? What vehicle did it come from? Can anyone tell?

Normal Steyr RSO with a regular Pak 40 that happens to be missing the shield/ frontal gun armor plate??? That would be my best guess.

The vehicle looks like some kind of RSO, but hard to ID teh gun from the angle of the photo…some kind of large caliber weapon…

There are two recuperator tubes lending me to think that it might be a 15cm sFH18 with a muzzle brake. Definitely not a 7.5cm Pak 40.

I’m hesitant b/c a 15cm haubitze would be huge!

I guess if it was a pak 40, the RSO would also have that added frontal armor and such… You’re right, though. It does look more like an sFH18. But, I don’t see how that would be a plausible weapon to load onto an RSO.

I posted this same query over on ML and posters came back with the answer. It’s the light weight 10.5cm Gebirgshaubitze (10.5cm howitzer used by the mountain troops)

That’s GREAT! Now, where do I get that gun? In either 1/35 or 1/72. I’m not picky about scale. Or, would I have to modify one? The Ace kit looks to be close for 1/72.

I had the S Models one but ebayed it away. A little clunky. CMK usually does good stuff.
