what glue to sue to glue resin parts?

Iam going to work on a 1/16 jadgetiger and stumtiger.but with some resin parts. what glue should I use? plastic to resin, resin to resin?
thanks,tom

I guess you’d have to go with cyanoacrylate. I’m pretty sure the regular styrene glues wouldn’t work.

The best way to go is cyanoacrylate.

Your local hobbyshop will be able to direct you. Cyanoacrylate (Super Glue) comes in three common viscosities: gel, medium and thin. Medium has the viscosity of milk and sets in 8-9 seconds. Thin sets very quickly and can be very hard to work with due to capillary action. I put a few drops of medium cyanoacylate in a dish of formed aluminum foil and dab the glue onto my parts with a bit of wire. The glue stays wet longer and you can cap your glue, allowing it longer shelf life.

Thank you for the info. Gentlemen!

is the CA strong enough for RC purpose?

I borrowed this ID.

plus, 1/16 parts are very big, is CA strong enough to hold such big parts?

Superglue should hold. If not, try two-part epoxy. You can find it at any discount or hardware store. If you still need a better fixative, go with JB Weld. It is a two-part epoxy used to fix cracks in engine blocks. It should handle whatever job you have.
