I have a 1/48 scale P&W R-2800 radial engine made by a Teknics, a company I’ve never heard of and I can’t seem to find a glue that bonds the parts together. I have’nt the slightest clue of what the parts are made of ( possibly a hard rubber or resin ). Anyway I would greatly appreciate any information on the company and there kit parts or glue types that I can attempt ( trial and error ). Thank you for your time and help…
Look at the following link. This may be your engine. Teknics is a maker of aircraft accessory and detail parts. Go to www.greatmodels.com to see some of their wares. Their products are resin with some brass etched parts. I’m not an expert in this. But, I think super glue is about your only option. Others in the forum are experts in working with resin.

Good luck.

I forgot: If you are not familar with super glue, I’d recommend visting a hobby store. There are different types for differnet applications, acceleartors, etc.
I think CA glue (ie. superglue) or epoxy would do the trick.
