What do the stars mean???

First of, let me just say, this forum ROCKS!!! You guys did a wonderful job designing, and monitering these forums!!!

I do however have a question…

What do the stars , under a members name, mean??? And what do the colors signify?? Also , what is the criteria for the member status that is also listed under the members name??
