Pretty fun build. Couple issues - cowling cracked when installing over the radial engine. Centerline bomb mount is really confusing. Otherwise pretty good

Started on my 1/200 Fletcher the other day. First job was painting the hull, which meant lots of masking. Well, today was unmasking day. I had the usual feeling of doom when I started, but overall, I was very pleased. I did have one spot where it tore away a little paint on the bow, but I think this will be an easy fix.

As for me, now that my Stuart is finished, my focus for finishing is on this one. Over the past couple of days I scratched up the missing steering linkage for the front wheels that Tamiya left out
After that was finished I glued the front of the cab into place so now basic main assembly is now complete.
I just have a few small bits to glue in place then start on the markings, weathering, load, etc….

Well today was set up my new bench.
After moving house earlier this year, I’ve finally got round to organising my new set up.
First on the bench is this little Douglas Skyray from Tamiya in 1/72.
I picked it up last weekend when taking my parents up to the air museum in Newark on Trent, Lincolnshire.
Looking forward to it after far too long since my last model.
