"What did you do in the war, Daddy?"...1/35th vignette

…I painted this years ago when it was first released by VLS…I threw their PE bedframe away and used a three-dimensional white-metal one from Andrea (i think)…the wood flooring is individually laid pieces of wood strip–and the newspaper and boots are VLS items…

…Humbrol enamels and oils…the resin casting of the bed and figs is ONE PIECE !!!

Awww man that is way cool!

I like to see different stuff every now and then. Great werk there Manstein.

Looks pretty good. I seen a photo of this kit years ago when it was first released but not a clear view of her right arm/hand. Guess she must be looking for the TV remote?

Oh my innocent eyes! [:-^]

Excellent paint job!

…LOL…[:D]

And she’s looking for the popcorn she spilled with her left.

Gentlemen,

First let me say, Manstein’s Revenge, this is a great vignette, very nicely finished.

But guys, as a caution, let’s keep the comments above board as there are children who use these Forums. If it’s not something you would want your 10-year-old to hear, probably best not to say it here.

Thanks for the understanding.

sorry

Hey, there were no tv remotes during world war 2!!!

great job!!!

i’m most amazed from the photos i see at how perfectly straight you painted those black boxes around her chest!!

but seriously i love the set looks very nice,

Gary

…thanks, I particularly am proud of the wooden floor, which is real planks of wood glued down and sanded…
