What was in your stocking this morning?
I got a Super Tomcat from Brian through the SSGB3 and my brother gave me a gift card to a LHS. Other than that, no plastic for me.
well I’m home on christmas day all alone again… boo…hooo and all that crap.
I got myself the new trumpeteer 1/35th Centauro 8 wheeler, looks really cool.
My friend at work got himself the trumpy 1/16th King kitty, looks great. That got left behind in the office tuesday because it was too big to bring to the boozer/pub.
Hope every body got something nice and cool.
Any Merry Christmas to all and a happy new year.
Terry.
Santa came a little early, but technically it’s Christmas.

So far I’ve got the pre-zimmed Tiger I and Bodo Spranz’s StuG III. I also got a Corgi 1/50th scale SdKfz 7 with a flakvierling, and the book “Combat History of the 503rd”(or something close to that). My family takes all day to open gifts so there may be more, or so I hope…[:D]

No plastic…just metal[:(] But good metal… Fruil tracks for my T-55A[:P]
Ahhhhh…see you got that MMiR issue of Dragon SMART kits…great issue…nice haul…
A sweater, some cologne, a Harry Potter book…oh you said modeling-wise.
[sigh] Nothing yet. I may just have to pay a visit to the LHS tomorrow to make up for this shortfall!!
Permission to spend! I ended up ordering several sets of MK tracks online for various upcoming projects. My wife knows better than to try to buy me something specific, she’s seen the inventory spreadsheet I keep as well as the organized closet and knows that providing the funding is enough and I will do the rest! [;)] [(-D]
Santa didn’t get me any kits this year.[:(] However I did get an early Christmas gift, the 1/35 Tamiya 7.5cm Pak 40 and 1/35 Tamiya Brass 7.5cm Projectiles. Not to mention a little spending money which will go to good use.[8-][8D]

I got a 1/400 SS United states cruise ship. My father bought this kit 10 or 11 years ago and it has been laying dormant with my watchful eye on it. He told me it was going to be his retirement project, but since the stock market went in the sh*tter he realized he wont be retiring any time soon so he felt it would be better to see the model finished than just sit in the closet collecting dust.
It is going to be my first ship model and it looks like a doozy, 200 pieces at least with no numbering system for the sprue, instructions on 1 page. One page of instructions. Also according to the instructions I only need 3 paint colors, red white and black, lol.
This thing is a beast but I cant let my dad down, as soon as I strip the paint he brushed on the hull (it looks like shit) construction will begin and a wip will be posted in the ships section.
I am not an expert modeler but I like to try my best.
That was my first Tamiya kit back when I was 9-10. I think it cost me around $4. It changed my life. LOL
Well I got plastic!!! But no kits.[:(] What I did get was a 7 drawer Sterlite rolling storage cart. [yeah] I can now see the top of my workbench and have I storage for tools, paint and supplies.
So I guess I will go to the Hobby Lobby tomorrow to pick up the Panther at 30% off.[:D]
Jeff
I got to see the little model of me (my son) who is ten with a very happy face, due in part to some people from the FSM forums who knew me and my family have been hurting since I have been unemployed.
You know who you are and you are awesome. God bless you all!
Jarod

300.00 bucks worth of Hobby Lobby gift cards…
Oh… the pain, the pain. LOL Those will come in handy for their 50% off sales. Can you find any Dragon kits at your HL?
Yeah, there’s Dragon , Academy, & Tamiya… I may indulge myself in the more expensive newer kits, coupled with the discounts now…
