Does anyone know the story behind these “Egg Planes?” Egg-quiring minds want to know…

Seriously…there was a hobby shop or some supplier that used a line profile of this ‘egg’ in their FSM advertisement about 25 years ago. I assumed it was a company logo.
Not being interested, I didn’t pursue it.
It could be the ‘bobblehead’ of the modelling hobby…I wouldn’t care to build one…but imagine what a JUG would look like if it were ‘egged out’
