What brand\type scriber templates do you suggest (rescribing aircraft panel lines)?

What type/brand of stencils would you folks suggest to rescribe aircraft panel lines lost while sanding? Is there an advantage to steel vs. other metals? Any particular brand that’s better than others? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Any Photo etch template such as Lion Roar, Verlinded, Eduard etc…as long as its pe, it will bend and flex for going over curves. Don’t forget using thin strips of Dymo (label tape) works great too.

Stainless Steel Erasing Shield:

I paid 35¢ (in 1965 money). I don’t need it often, but when I do…

Prior to sanding in the area, or if you see a line disappearing while you are sanding, deepen the line with your scriber of choice before it is gone. That’s the easiest way and requires no template.

Thank you for the suggestions. I hope to repair some lost panel lines on my Revell Phantom. Next time I’ll be sure to enhance the lines prior to sanding. Thanks again.

+1 on this. I bought one at HL with a 40% off which made it was less then a dollar.
