what 1/35 line have Dragon got up there sleave

Attention Military Modellers – something NEW is coming to 1/35 scale!

ooh i hope one’s going to be British or Comenwelth Armour (Comet[8D] or Humber scout [:D])
and the other line US WW2 (M3 halftrack[8D] or Staghound[:D])
come on Dragon bring them out[:D][:D][:D][?]

Sounds cool. I’m hoping for that Crusader. Perhaps, a new tool Valentine.

I’ll take a different course than you guys … pre-built and pre-painted for the collectors … much like Tamiya’s line.

That way if it is a cool kit … I won’t be so disappointed.

Shermie has been reading some other forums I think [;)] I think it definately going to be a pre-built kit.

But in turn, I am happy as hell that they re-released their Panzer IV F1,F2,G, Stug G.

I’d love to see a modern line of vehicles, but it will probably be die cast or pre-assembled plastic vehicles. I just hope DML doesn’t slow down production of plastic kits. Who knows, it could also be resin kits or conversions???

Dragon already do Pre made 1/72 and 1/144 armour and aircraft kits and the anouncment was on the Plastic Kit page
But it might be right about the Pre Built Kit[V]
[V][V][V][V][V][:(!][:(!][:(!][V][V][V][V]

they are bringing out new 1/72 kits for the little peaple[8D]

Please guys, no prebuilt stuff. Me want new plastic. Please…

Hi, folks!
I, too, heard that it may be pre-builts.
The latest info I’ve seen in the Japanese hobby mags indicates that Hasegawa (Dragon’s distributor here in Japan) has not announced anything about new products to be introduced at the Tokyo hobby show, but that we should expect something.

If I see anything in the Japanese hobby press about it. I’ll let ya’ll know.

I’ve always wondered about the term ‘prebuilt kit’… Seems to me, if its prebuilt, it ain’t a kit, it’s a nick nack. NO THANKS![xx(][xx(][xx(] I don’t care how NICE it looks, if I didn’t build it, I DON’T want it! (Unless it’s a gift, of course[:)])

I get enough literature on prebuilt John Deeres, MG’s, Shermans and Model T’s to choke a mule. Yuck Augh… phoo!

Put all the pieces of those pre-assembled wonders in a box and let ME build it, then you’ll have my interest.

Prebuilt by somebody who’s on number 11,176 of 50,000? NO THANKS.

Ron.

PS Thumbs up if it’s something for younger modelers!!![:D]

I’ll throw in my 2 cents worth…Panther G’s!!! Yeah, Yeah…Go Panthers. Baring that, a super kit of a JagdAnything. Or a retooled Sherman, or…

Guess I’ll take anything DML can throw at me. But not a prebuilt…sorry guys. If I want a prebuilt DML tank, I’ll get some of their 1/72 stuff!

Hey, just thought, maybe they’ll beat Academy to the punch and it’ll be an M36!! LOL

Good modeling to ya;

Bill

I’d like them to come out with a 1/35 Tiger 1 or King T [^]

Bill and Eric, I like how you think. [;)] That would be a winner!

I heard it would be pre-builts but I am still hoping that it would be not. The recent releases of Dragon have been great improvements and for a more affordable price than Tamiya, I would definitely hope that they would come up not with pre-builts but more better 1/35 armor like panther g or jadgpanther.

Just keeping my fingers crossed though.

I didn’t mention in my post but, a big NO-NO on the pre-builts [xx(]

You know what I’d REALLY like to see? A 1/35 scale Char B to go up against early German armor.

Ron.

Definately a late Tiger 1 - it would be nice to see a competitor to the Tamiya offering.

We need some new WW2 US halftracks.
Look what DML did with their german halftrack series.

I was looking in a mag (earlier this year Military Models in Review) and they showed a bunch of 1/35 figures and heads Dragon is releasing. Some of the sets are 10 year commerative sets and come with a calander page. I believe the page has something to do with the subject of the set. There will be 12 different sets with pages in it. I’m not sure if all the pages will be in figure sets, or if some will be in a model. Could be cool, and cause quite the collector’s scramble. Especially if they cross categories and put some in armor, some in aircraft, etc. Anybody know anything more substatial??

Bill

its not the callender thing, theres a diferent site for that and there just the old stuff like the cross of iron and elephant
not long to wait now

Where’s our informant, agent J-Hulk? He should be on his way to Tokyo by now. LOL
