Well here she is my first tank ever...

I really enjoyed building it. Tamiya Tiger I 1/35 R/C
went together well , and really enjoyed painting/weathering it. The photos arent too great but was anxious to get them posted so didn’t spend too much time on the pic’s .
Anyway here she is , comments/sugestions appreciated. Mark

Looks great, John. The subtle weathering is just superb!

looks great im in the middle of building my first tank

I think that qualifies you for admission to the Dark Side. LOL Welcome to the club Mark and a very popular build too. What did you like or not like about the experience. Any others down the road?

Bob101, we look forward to yours also.

Thanks guys, I liked the Tamiya kit alot the only 2 issues I had are 1 the r/c motor unit didn’t work, I sent it to Tamiya USA and hope  they will send me a replacement. I also had a tough time getting the tracks and wheels to line up right?? oh well it rolls at least.
Painting was fun but drybrushing and weathering was better [:)] Photo etch was a pain in the #$% so I ended up only using 6-10 pieces of the whole darn kit I bought. Juat got a mission models etchmate this week, so the next attempt should be a little easier.
I am starting the Tamiya Panther now.

Good luck on the kitty. Is it one of the G’s or their A?

i must agree. nicely done.

A great job on the tank, hopefully it wont be the last one you build.

Thanks for sharing

No I’m Hooked many more to come I think:)

Very nice Tiger; glad to hear you enjoyed the experience.

I agree with Dwight, that is very nice subtle weathering; it really finishes it well.

Way to go and welcome to the too heavy and to classy to fly club…

Very nice build. That’s quite a project to tackle for a first tank, and I can tell you, it turned out a lot better than my first one.

nice work john,

what weathering techniques did you use?

Dave

Looks great Mark! Bet you can’t wait to get that motor in and running. Solid build all around, glad you enjoyed it.

That’s a fine build!
Very nice work. Always good to see a gray Tiger!

It’s a fine looking build, and the overall finish is nice and subtle. semper fi, mike

Very nice job on the early grey scheme! The figures are excellently done as well, thanks for sharing your pics with the group. [tup]

AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!, a grey kitty kat ! We don’t see enough old school grey tigers if you ask me . I really do like the old basic one color schemes much better , the desert yellow or the grey are my faves . Nice job on it too . good job on the commander as well !

Very nice [tup][tup]
