Greetings! I am fairly new to modeling (started a little less than a year ago). I am having a ton of fun with it and am trying to increase my modeling skills. Just recently purchased an airbrush setup so I will have a lot of practicing to do. My cousin recommended this site and it looks like there is a lot of the information that I am looking for all in one place!! Which is fantastic! Your cousin gave you great advice. You have really come to the right place. There are many, many trekkies and star wars fans on these forums. You’ll find most of them in the Sci-Fi section of these forums but a lot of them build any and all types of models so you’ll find them anywhere. No matter what section that you go to, you will find members that are very knowledgeable and willing to help you with any questions/problems that you might have. Don’t be afraid to ask questions. That’s the only way to get the help that you need. There are no such things as dumb questions. I’ve been building models for 71 of my 77 years and I’m still learning something new almost every day.
This is a great hobby and I hope that you enjoy it.
