Welcome to Redleg-2-Scale, my new web site

To all my friends here on FSM, I welcome you to my new web site Redleg-2-Scale. I have tried to make it as creative as possible and also integrating not just models but walk arounds as well.

I hope you enjoy it. Thank you for taking the time to view it. Like my build logs here, please feel free to comment. The site is at the 99% mode but I am sure there is something which needs attention somewhere.

Thanks in advance for looking, commenting and this would not have been possible without the support of my many friends here on FSM.

Hey Mike,I just got back from your new site and you’ve done a pretty good job of it and will more than likely come in handy to more than just me.[t$t]

Thanks

Tony Lee[:)]

Tony - Thanks glad you enjoyed it

I know you’ve had this one on your list of “to do’s” for a while Mike, very nice work on the site and layout. [B]

I did get a slight chuckle though about the Mobile Bun System under the anti-tank list. [whstl] [;)]

Added it to my page of reference sites. I especially liked seeing your work area. I like to see how other people have there workbenches set up and what tools they use. I think one of the pics was of a photo booth. Once I get to where my work looks good enough that I WANT clear pictures of it to show off I will need one of those. For now a little dark and blurry actually might be good for my morale.

Mike,Very informative site and it looks great.thanks for the hard work.

Bill - Yes, I can finally check the box. I have been trying for a while but never able to get over the top. Now that it is set up, it will be much simpler to add and maintain. It is like a plane…you need a lot more power to take off than to cruise at 30,000.

Glad you liked it…as for the Mobile Bun System [:$]…I am still trying to catch little nits…the site has almost 50 pages…I am sure there is another on somewhere [*-)] Thanks…it’s fixed

Coldsteel - Thanks for stopping in. I am glad you enjoyed it. Comments like that make it all worth while. Glad you like the studio…God I love tools!!!. Yes, that is the photo booth and you should focus soon. There is nothing to fear but fear itself…especially us here at FSM…we don’t bite [;)] Thanks again

Tony - Glad you liked it. Thank you for looking

Mike

I’m lovin’ the website. I’m actually exploring it now. Great work!

On the subject of little nits here and there, on the first page, in your ‘News From the Blockhouse’ section, the Show News is a little bit grammatically incorrect.

“I will be attending AMPS East is September 24 &25 in Danbury, CT. Come see my seminar on modeling artillery”

I think you wanted to say ‘on’ September 24 & 25…

No biggie…

I’m adding your site to my favorites right now!

WOW! I love the slide show of your work area and the walk around section is GREAT! Good idea to include that in your site. Well done, Sir!!! [Y]

Cool! The site’s very pleasent and easy to navigate- You’ve done a very nice job.

you know you are amongst my very favorite modelers! I like the way you do things (along with Wild Bill), and you get things right 99.99% of the time. Rest assured I’ll visit your new website on a regular basis

Alright Redleg, I’ve been running rampant through your site for the last hour or so, which makes me feel ready to give it a review…[8-|]

NICE!!! That is the first word that comes to mind. I agree with Ryan’s comment that you have made navigation easy and seamless. I also really like the colors - the red and yellow stand out nicely on the black. Your gallery is great (I had no idea you’d built an M8 - we’ve got to talk!! [;)]). The references/walk arounds are a nice touch and the links page is a great resource. I can’t wait to see where this takes off! Really, REALLY good start Mike. [:D[

I just visited your new site, it’s excellent. Your work space is fantastic!

One thing though, how that that flying thing sneak in at the bottom of the page?

Tell me about it Mike! Endless possibilities for little typos to sneak in all over the place. For some reason I had images of large cinnamon bun rounds being stowed in the vehicle when I read the Bun…late night and tired will do funny things to the imagination. Added to my Favs and love what you’re doing with the place. [B]

I don’t even know where to start. It’s all too good.

I’m going to add it to the favorites list.

First to everyone thanks you!!

Boyd - Holy Excrement…a sit down and explore session…I am truly touched. I wanted to give a mix of the model and the walkarounds…many of my walkarounds like my builds are the different and strange. I also wanted to let everyone see into my little space and be there with me in the studio.

I am glad you enjoyed it. Thanks

Nial - Thanks for taking the time and looking and thanks for the comments

Gary - I am truly humbled by your comments…they mean a lot to me…all I can say is from your brother Redleg, Thank you. Enjoy

Wailkong - I am glad you enjoyed the view of the bench. As I said to Boyd, it is letting you into my space!! As for the flying thing…well first it says US Army…second I was Air Assualt…spent a bunch of time around heilos. Besides artillery, there is a whole shelf in the stash of 1/35 heilos

Raifan - Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for taking the time

Bill - Here is a photo of the ammo rack on that model [:D]

Yep…tonight will be sit a fix nits night before I go to bed…

Thank you everyone

I can’t be the only one who mentally put an ‘h’ in ‘sit’. Lol that was really subliminal.

Mmm, cinimon rolls. A great way to complete an exelent grand-launch date for a website.

Your website was well worth the time, and I really enjoy it.

Very well done Mike[:D[!

Two things, will you be adding a forum or Q&A feature to the site and would it be possible to enable the user to click on the pics and enlarge them.

Again a great looking site my friend[:D][Y].

Nice design, nice lay out, easy to browse…looks pretty darn good!
