I’m considering trying a swirly German night camo technique using spaghetti. I’m thinking it might be faster and more consistent than using rolled up strands of putty or clay. I’d cook angel hair pasta and place pieces on the base-painted model to make very detailed swirls of grey on black by airbrushing straight on perpendicular to the model surface. I’d have to take it off quickly before it stuck or left residue. Any suggestions or better techniques would be appreciated.
Hi,
It’ll be interesting to see how this works out.

I have tried it and it does work. I found rolling out strands of the tacky stuff used to put up posters works better. As far as the residue from the pasta it will wash off without much work.
